There is a renewed interest in ceramics, with handwork making a strong comeback in contemporary art. Céline Cadaureille provides an historical overview before presenting the work and the renaissance of ceramic practices.

Céline Cadaureille Céline Cadaureille is a lecturer in plastic arts at the Université Jean Monnet in Saint-Étienne, and is involved in plastic and theoretical research. An associate member of the LLA-Créatis laboratory, she is attached to the CIEREC to pursue her research, which focuses on contemporary sculpture, installation and performance. She has contributed to numerous collective works and recently co-edited La dynamique du mou (ed. PUM).
