Abstract
Valérie Da Costa talks about ceramics in Italy, through the artistic careers of Fausto Melotti and Lucio Fontana. This presentation takes us deeper into the work of Lucio Fontana, analyzing how he rethought the relationship between sculpture and painting through the concept of space.
Valérie Da Costa is an art historian, art critic and curator. A senior lecturer in contemporary art history (XXth-XXIst centuries) (Institut d'histoire de l'art-Université de Strasbourg), she is the author of numerous texts and books on the subject (Lucio Fontana, Fausto Melotti, Pino Pascali, Fabio Mauri, Piero Gilardi, Ettore Spalletti, Eliseo Mattiacci, Laura Grisi, Carla Accardi...).
