École Supérieure d’Art et Design de Saint-Étienne (Esadse, France)

Saint-Étienne Higher School of Art and Design (Esadse) trains artists, designers and other creatives in many areas of these disciplines. Thanks to a vision that sees art and design as complementary disciplines, its courses are organised to encourage dialogue and synergies between these two streams. In 1998, the teaching teams at the school launched the Biennale Internationale Design Saint-Étienne and in 2010, Saint-Étienne became a UNESCO Creative City of Design. The School's Art courses cover all artistic practices and hybrid forms, but what stands out is the attention paid to "doing" and a marked interest in pictorial practices in all their contemporary diversity.

The Arts and Crafts aujourd’hui programme began in 2018 and is led by the Modernity Experimentation Laboratory (LEM).

Académie royale des Beaux-Arts (ArBA, Belgique)

The Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Brussels (ArBA) is a Higher School of Art (ESA) subsidised by the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. Its curriculum and teaching aims are governed by its organising authority, the City of Brussels, in line with its education policy.

Founded in 1711, the ArBA-EsA today is a place where a modern curriculum and artistic culture meet a rich history. It is heir to a tradition that has seen layer upon layer of very different artistic practices build up along with new and inventive teaching methods. Today it is positioned in a complex international panorama of higher education institutions, with a focus that is as educational and artistic as it is vocational. It is a place of learning and research and a huge creative and productive workshop that has shaped generations of artists, designers and creators of projects.

The School aims to enable its students to develop their individual artistic and professional practices by positioning them in a space that takes a reflective and critical view of the arts. In recent years, a number of new courses have been created, including masters' in Exhibition Practices, Publishing Practices and Urban Design. It has also created an Institute of Arts and Choreography (ISAC). These new courses bear witness to the School's desire to move forward in its teaching, in line with the practices of the day.

Universidade do Porto (U.Porto, Portugal)

University of Porto was founded in 1911 and is today one of the most important higher education and research institutions in Portugal with 31,897 students, 20% of whom are international students, 2,698 lecturers and researchers and 1,643 administrative staff. It is one of the top Portuguese universities in the national and international rankings.

The Faculty of Fine Arts is an organic unit of the University of Porto, originally founded as the Academy of Fine Arts in 1836. It is now a centre for creation, communication and dissemination of knowledge, culture, science and technology in the fields of the fine arts and design. The Faculty's aim is to teach, encourage academic research and develop services for the community.

The Faculty awards degrees (at master's & PhD level) in Fine Arts, Drawing and Design.

Vysoká škola výtvarných umení v Bratislave (VŠVU, Slovakia)

The Bratislava Academy of Fine Arts and Design (VSVU) is one of the largest and oldest public institutions offering higher education in the arts in Slovakia and Central Europe. The Academy's mission is to improve teaching in accredited study programs, to strengthen creative and critical thinking, to support independent artistic and scientific research and artistic creation, and to encourage the creative spirit of human society adhering to humanistic values.

It offers teaching at all three university levels (bachelor's, master's and PhD) in Fine Art, Design, Architecture, Restoration and at PhD level in the Theory and History of Art and Architecture department, as well as a range of VET courses.

Université du Québec à Montréal (UQÀM, Canada)

The École des Arts Visuels et Médiatiques (School of Visual and Media Arts, EAVM) is a higher education institution dedicated to teaching and exploration in the visual and media arts. It offers a wide range of courses that allow students to develop their artistic skills, stimulate their creativity and explore the different media used in the visual and media arts.

The School offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses, and students can specialise in areas such as photography, painting, sculpture, printing arts, digital art, video, animation, among many others.

Students at the EAVM have access to advanced facilities and equipment, such as photography and printed image studios, robotics and computer labs, video editing suites, art workshops and exhibition halls. These resources allow them to explore and master different artistic techniques and principles, as well as to experiment with different media, display systems or emerging technologies.

The courses are taught by experienced teachers and artists recognised in their respective fields. They provide students with advice and guidance, motivate them to push their creative boundaries, to explore new ideas and develop their own artistic style.

As well as academic courses, the EAVM organises exhibitions, talks, collaborative projects, workshops and other cultural events. These activities gives the students the opportunity to present their work to the public, to create professional networks and to expand their understanding of art and places of production and dissemination in a wider context.

In short, the EAVM is a dynamic and creative place of learning where students can explore their passion for the visual and media arts, acquire technical and conceptual skills, and prepare for a career in the arts or any related sphere.

National Institute of Fine Arts of Tetouan (INBA, Morocco)

The National Institute of Fine Arts of Tetouan (INBA, founded 1945) is a higher education institution teaching plastic and applied arts and design under the authority of the Moroccan Department of Culture.

It was included in the new reform of Morocco's universities (adoption of the bachelor's/master's/PhD system) and has three main departments: Plastic Arts (painting, drawing, sculpture, conceptual art, video art, installations/volume and printmaking); Design and Society (2D/3D graphics, spatial and territorial planning, objects and tools); Visual Narrative Arts, which covers comic strips and graphic novels, video game animation, script writing and illustration.

The courses at the Institute include theoretical teaching, practical work, workshops, specialised workshops, placements to perfect professional! skills and final course projects. The students can also attend numerous seminars and take part in field visits.
