Annie Claustres is an HDR lecturer in contemporary art history and theory at Université Lyon 2, and recently published Objets emblèmes, objets du don. Enjeux postmodernes de la culture matérielle, de 1964 à nos jours [Presses du réel, 2017], which analyzes the interactions between everyday object art and design in terms of material culture, and updates theories of the gift. She is a laureate of the Villa Kujoyama 2019.
